He understands that the location and figure of his artwork are equally important for the right story telling.

By doing so, he ensures that his mini-sculptures are perfectly balanced and harmonize beautifully with their surroundings.

Who is the artist?

Mihajlo Kolodko, also known as Kolodko Mihály in Hungary, was born in Ukraine in 1978 and currently resides in Vác with his family.

He is a talented sculptor who specializes in creating delightful miniature guerrilla sculptures that can be found throughout Budapest.

Fun fact!

Did you know that one of Kolodko Mihály's favorite ways to learn Hungarian when he moved to Hungary with his family was by watching traditional Hungarian cartoons?

His favorite cartoon was "A Nagy Ho-ho-ho Horgász" (In English: The Big Ho-Ho Angler), which featured a happy worm as the main character.

This lovable worm acted as the inspiration for one of his first mini-statues in Budapest, which now has an exact copy in Uzhgorod, Ukraine.
